Welcome Socials 8-2

Today we did the Grade 8 orientation activity in the gym with all of the other grade 8s in the school.  Thanks go to Sue Lamb our Community School Coordinator for her efforts to organize the event on a short timeline.  We began with a welcome song by Andy and his Sechelt language students and then we met in small groups to speak. Afterwords we got on the bleachers for a "Class of 2019" photo and then had bannock dogs for lunch.  There is no homework.  Next class we will get our textbooks and talk about success and gratification to help set the tone for the rest of the year (and the years to follow).  Thanks for your participation today.

  1. Hi Mr. MArshall, i don't know if this is the right post to put the comments on but this year i think i'll be pretty good about getting to class on time, handing things in on time and i can't wait to see what kind of projects we will be doing this year..!

  2. Hello Mr. Marshall, I think this is the right area to comment, so I am going to write here. I never miss school days, and if so, it will be very rarely (doctors appointments, Sick, ect.) Socials in my old school was not my favourite subject, but just looking at the stuff on the walls in your class room, makes it look like this will be a much more interesting and fun Socials program then my last one. I really can't wait to start the year.
