Today we reviewed the globe and then practiced finding geographic coordinates using Google Earth and the class atlas set. I also gave an
engaging and entertaining demonstration of "rotation" AND REVOLUTION to help students understand
why Earth has an Arctic/Antarctic Circle, and why we have the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. I was very pleased with the conduct of both groups. It was clear that these classes are here to learn.
