  8. I'd like to thank those of you who were able to post a comment so far. I think we would be able to solve some of these questions with a bit of digging. I think it is interesting how much change is occurring in Europe in such a short period of time. But then I think about all of the change that has occurred in the last century and I guess it makes sense. Let's try to keep aware of the forces that are propelling the change we are studying.

  11. What I'd like to know is when we're talking about the Anglo-Saxons attacking and taking over most of Europe who decided to do this? The ruling authorities the army ( did they even have a official army?) the common citizens or was it a unanimous decision. Did some people rebel against this choice? So all in all my question is both who decided this and how did it go over with the Anglo-Saxon citizens?
