Today we started class by watching a TEDTalk with Sunni Brown. Next, I shared the story of my own learning about sketchnotes as I worked to move beyond PowerPoint. We then began learning techniques ourselves. I think this will be a powerful learning tool for students. Personally, I find it fun. Tomorrow in order to celebrate all of our hard work in the geography unit we will be participating in the PE dance program.
Next Tuesday at lunch there will be a tutorial for any student who wishes to rewrite the geography test. The rewrite will take place on Wednesday or Thursday.
